The first meeting of the Bracondale Residents’ Association Garden Club was held on 18th May 2017. The Covid-19 pandemic caused an interruption to the club’s meetings between March to December 2020 but since January 2021 we have been having regular meetings over zoom for a friendly chat about gardening, to swap seeds/plants, to share problems, ideas and advice, and, where possible, to arrange bulk purchases. Weather and viruses permitting, we meet over tea/coffee in the garden/allotment of a club member. We also arrange group visits to notable gardens and presentations by outside experts on relevant subjects such as composting.

All Association members are welcome, whether or not you have a garden and regardless of your level of gardening expertise. Our aim is to inform as well as be informed.

To join or to get more details email Bracondale Residents’ Association <bracondaleresidentsassociation@gmail.com> with Garden Club membership in the subject line.

Go to the Gardening Discussion page for members’ notices and notes.

Use this forum as an online resource to raise or display gardening-related topics. You will find here the agendas and notes of the Garden Club’s regular meetings, a virtual noticeboard for items of temporary interest eg plant exchanges and a virtual scrapbook for items of gardening interest to keep for future reference. The intention with the Scrapbook is to accumulate locally-relevant information that can be shared by our members, now and in the future.
